TDI Evaluation

Mom and I passed our TDI, Therapy Dog International, evaluation last night. I had a good time and was very good when a little girl came running right up to me and laughed and ran away. I just sat there and mom really gave me lots hugs and praise. Then when we had to walk around the other dogs I was good and did not make a sound. Even when there was metal bowls being hit together and making a lot of noise I stayed with mom. Then when mom had to leave me for 3 very long minutes I stayed with Miss Charlene and was a good boy. All 15 of us passed the test. Now I have to have a picture taken and have Dr. More fill out some paper work and mom send in the paper work to get our bandana and badge.

I think mom was happy last night. I got a lot of cheese and many treats. Maybe if I do this good in agility I might get a lot of cheese and treats. I'll think about it.

Have a great spring and Happy Trails.

Farwell to cousin Caesar :(

My doggy cousin Caesar, the Boston Terrier, who lived in Florida, went to Rainbow Bridge yesterday. Mom told me he had an enlarged heart. I will miss him. I know he is now with Aunt AElz, the Norfolk Terrier, and Grandpa Hutchins.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Mom and I would like to wish all our friends and family and Happy Christmas and A Happy New Year. We are back to competing indoors which I like better then outside.

This past year had it's ups and downs.

The best upper was the birth of Juliet Kenley Hutchins. Mom's niece who was born March 18 in Florida. We got to drive to Florida to meet and spend time with her and Uncle Nate and Aunt Sandy and my doggie cousin's Nani and Caesar.

The rest of the year we competed at our first 2 outdoors agility competitions and we did ok.

May everyone have a Great Year to come and hopefully mom will post more this coming year hen in 2011.

Happy Thanksgiving

Mom and I would like to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. We have been busy. Competed at Deerfield Agility trial in October. Ended up with a 1st and 2nd.

Mom just found out yesterday that my cousin, Mom's brother's Boston Terrier Caesar, has Cardiomyopithy. Enlarged heart. So we have Caesar and the rest of the family in our prayers.

Now that the cold weather is here we are competing indoors and competing more.

Happy Thanksgiving

Sorry long break

Since my last blog mom and I have competed a couple of more trials. I finished my CL1-H and CL1-R. I competed in my first outdoors competition in Knoxville, Maryland. Got 2 blue ribbons which surprised mom.

From Maryland we went to Tenn to see some of mom's friends and meet 2 boys. They read to me a bedtime story about a dog. From there we drove to Florida to meet mom's niece Juliet Kenley Hutchins. She is cute. Mom stayed with us for a week then she went home and worked for 2 weeks then came back. When she came back I did not know it was her until she said Hi Pi and I was so excited to see her I almost turned over my crate. Hopefully she does not leave me for 2 weeks again. I played with Nani the Pug and Caesar the Boston Terrier while mom was away. I still did not want to play with Brody or Brie. We had a great time in Sunny Florida. It was very hot and humid.

On our way home we stopped at a friend of mom's. Her name is Jodi and she has a little boy named Kirian. It was nice to meet them. I think mom was excited to see her friend Jodi.

We get home and 4 days later a tornado goes threw Mass. I am glade we got home before the bad weather hit. But we did bring back the hot weather.

Pictures:
1. Me, mom, Juliet, Uncle Nate, Brody, Grandma, & Brie
2. Michelle reading to the boys and me
3. Allen sitting with me.
4. Long car ride so might as well sleep
5. Ready to go to Florida.

Hope everyone has a great summer. Stay cool and drink lots of water.

First CPE Trial

That's right, mom and I competed in our first CPE Agility trail at All Dogs Gym in Manchester, NH.

Saturday February 12:
Level 1 Jumpers: I had fun running around and then I entered in the last tunnel and sniffed around because it smelled good inside then on my way out, mom was calling for me, I could not hold it longer. I peed on the tunnel just inside the exit. Guess I am not suppose to do that. Got NT, No Time.
Level 1 Full House: I had what is called the ZOOMIES. We were suppose to take 3 jumps, 2 tunnels or the tire, and 1 combo or the a-frame. we got 3 jumps and 1 tunnel. then ran out of time. But I did go to the table to stop the time. 1st.
Level 1 Standard: This one was fun and I even stayed with mom and I ran around a little but came back to mom. We had 3 faults but under time. 1st.

Sunday February 13:
Level 1 Colors: Now I did not see where mom walked on the course so I had no idea where we were going to run. Mom walked one course but then walked the second course. She wanted me to go the second course which started going up the dog walk. But I am having to much fun to not go to the TUNNELS. Yup I started the first course mom wanted to do. Under Time and No Faults. 1st and Q.
Level 1 WildCard: I decided to stay with mom and go the dog walk and then came off and ran around a little before coming back to mom and we finished the course with no problem and under time. 1st and Q.
Level 1 Standard: Last run for our weekend. End of day. Did the beginning but then I was suppose to go to the tunnel but went up the a-frame and went and visited a guy that was standing in the ring with us. I went over to say Hi but he ignored me so I went back to mom and we finished the course. Over time and some faults. 2nd.

So after the weekend I have moved out of Level 1 Colors and Level 1 Wildcard to Level 2 Colors and Level 2 Wildcard.

My name now is: Nozomi's Q T Pi CGC CL1-H

CGC: Canine Good Citizen
CL1-H: Complete Level 1- Handler

SNOW

I love to play in the fluffy white stuff but not the hard stuff. When mom's schedule is not to busy we will be going skiing. Maybe this year I can trip mom again like last year.

Well I have to go out now and play in the white stuff outside. Mom just fed the little things that fly around outside. I think mom called them Birds. They are fun to watch and those big grey critters called squarrels are fun to watch them going to get the bird feed from the feeders.

Everyone stay safe and becareful driving if you have to go out.
