We're Back

Boston was fun. We placed 1st and Winners in the Novice group for Shiba's. But did not go on to Non-Sporting Group. We had competion when we went into the Best In Breed. After competing we walked around and saw many of Grandma's friends running agility and 1 friend who was helping the Old English Sheep Dog rescue booth. Sandy did not know Mom was competing with me in Breed.

1. The picture the group we are the last ones in line.
2. We are coming back to the judge. Boy I look GREAT.
3. Here I am waiting for the judge to come up and look at me.

Well our next show will be Fitchburg, Mass. next month.

Everyone stay warm and cuddle up with someone. I love to cuddle with mom on the couch.

Happy Holidays

Boston Dog Show 2008

Yup mom just signed me up for the Boston Dog Show December 4 and 5. Here I am in my LEAST favorite place. The bath tub. I let mom and everyone else in the building that I DO NOT like taking a bath. I SCREAM. Next will be going to grandma's to get my nails done. YUCK. But I guess I have to put up with it to get the BIG beautiful ribbons for mom, Eunice and Mark. Oh Eunice and Mark are my breeders who live in Derry, NH.

Well time to recover for the bath. I hope you all have a safe and Warm Thanksgiving and a Happy New Year. When we get back from Boston mom will let you all know what happens since I can't type on the computer.

Fall Is Here

The cool weather has arrived. When mom brought me in last night I was very cold, even my paws where cold. I was happy to get in my crate and warm up. Uncle Willie left to go back to Australia this afternoon. Last Saturday the boy scouts did their scouting for food. I went with mom and Charlie to the Armory in Portsmouth to help with the collection of food. I stayed on mom's lap and "Helped" put the numbers in the computer and keep mom's lap warm. Everyone likes to see me with my mom.

Everyone stay warm.

Australia

Mom finally got her pictures downloaded. Mom went to wineries, saw kangaroos, koala bears, parrots, saw a lot of friends. This weekend is the Wooden Boat Forum wood cutting party at grandma's. Uncle Willie is still here and cutting trees.

Mom said she is going to go back and have Uncle Willie be a tour guide since the trip was cut short. Time to break out the winter coats and the orange coats.

Enjoy the pictures

Great Grandpa Hargreaves

Hi everyone

Last Sunday night my great Grandpa Hargreaves, Grandma's dad, passed away. While mom went down for the funeral I stayed with Lynn and Charlie Garland. I played with Trixie and Cuffy.

I just been told I am going to "Berrybrow Bootcamp" while mom is in Australia October 2 to November 11. Mom is going to a 4H World Conference in Adelaide, Australia and then visiting Uncle Will and Aunt Donna. From what mom told me Grandma is going to work me everyday on my obiendence. YUCK!!!

The 4H World conference is the International Foreign Youth Exchange, IFYE. Mom went to Switzerland back in 1996 for 6 months. She has been to 1 other World conference in Washington, DC and 1 National Conference in Burlington, VT. So look for photos when mom gets back. Oh and before the trip is Deerfield Fair September 25 to 28. Mom will be in Concession building 3 by the fire station. So come on by and see her. I am staying at Grandma and Grandpa's for the weekend.

Well time for my bed.

She is going to a conference in Adelaide from October 4 to the 11 then on the 11 to November 10 mom is staying with Uncle Will and Aunt Donna. Maybe when she gets back there will be some pictures from her trip on here. I want a stuffed Kangaroo and maybe an Australian coat to match with mom's.

Well time for bed. We have to get up early and take care of a horse at one place and 5 Mastiffs and 2 St. Bernards. Then meet CK, a friend of mom's, at grandma and grandpas house to put in a new toilet.

Hope everyone has a good week.

Stratham Fair 2008

Just finished Stratham Fair . This year was great. Before the Miss Stratham Fair Pageant Lynn presented 2 scholarships and then the fair presented Lynn with the 4H building being named the "Lynn Garland 4H Exhibit Hall". For her 39 years of working with the 4H. From what I under stand Lynn was behind the design and build of the building many years ago. Then on Sunday Lynn got to see Mrs. Barker, who one of the scholarships is named after.

The 2 photos of ME mom got 2 blues and then a red on one of her Gettysburg photo and then she got Favorite and blue on her Apron she made and a blue for her blue dress.

Hope everyone is safe and staying cool and dry this summer. Time to go and take my morning nap.

TORNADO Hits New Hampshire

Yup a Tornado touched down in Deerfield and moved to Effingham. It was a catagory 2 when it hit and then up to a 3 then back down to a 2. There was one death in Deerfield. A couple of mom's clients where hit but they are OK. One client is a nursery and they where flattened.

Here are some pictures 2 days after the tornado went thru. The first photo is one of mom's clients house on Route 207 the end of Echo Valley Rd. To the left of the house everything is cleared and to the right it was not touched. Reports are saying it was not wide. The other 3 photos are from Route 4 in Northwood at Northwood Lake.

Gettysburg, PA

Mom had a good time at the 145th Gettysburg Re-enactment. That was the longest mom has left me. I had to spend 6 days with grandma and grandpa. Then she came back and mom took a motorcycle riding course so she now has her motorcycle license.

Photos
1: Mom on the left, YES IN A DRESS, with her friends
2: The Union Soldiers going off to one of the 6 battles.
3: 2 Union Soldiers loading muskits with a fallen brother behind them.

Mom, Uncle Nate and Uncle Will got Grandpa a futon for Father's /Birthday. It is Cherry wood with a nautical theme cover. I love to take a nap with Grandpa. It is nice and comfy.

Next week mom is heading to Gettysburg, PA for the 145th Civil War Reenactment with the 32nd Mass. Field Hospital. Maybe after the 7th mom might put up some pictures.

Well we hope everyone has a good week.

Mom's new Transportation

Well mom got the picture of the Schwinn downloaded. It goes 30 to 35 mph, but on the up hills it goes 10 15 mph. It is funny because no one knows her when she goes by them.

Have a good day

Who turned on the Heat

My mom got a Schwinn Motor scooter. She is having fun driving it around since it has been up in the 90s. It is blue and since I can't ride it I get to stay with Grandma and Grandpa and Uncle Nate. Grandma has been sending me to the basement but I am not complaining since it is nice a cool down there. Uncle Nate is going back to Aunt Sandy and the "Kids" next Monday. He has been here for 2 weeks.

I went to my doctors appointment and since Dr. More did not get enough blood for a blood test I have to go back. Other then that I am a healthy boy.

I am off to the basement again to cool off. Mom had to work in this yucky weather. The dogs do not like it. Well everyone stay cool and mom will get the scooter pictures up when she gets them downloaded.

Spring Clearup

Uncle Willie has been a busy beaver. He has been cutting a lot of trees around the house and barn. Some friends of grandpa and grandma's are coming over to cut, split the wood, and stack it.

Well the black flies are coming out and they are "Bugging" my ears. Mom needs to get the bug lotion out and put some on me so the bugs would leave me alone. This weekend is the 1st of 3 agility trials at the Deerfield Fair campground area. I can't wait see everyone since this is the first place I met my "Mommy" a year ago.

Time for my nap. Mommy gave me a bath and I am tired from "Screaming". But I do smell nice. I hope everyone has a good Spring. Next weekend on May 4th mom is riding her bike for the American Diabetes Association Tour De Cure. She is riding 25 miles on the coast of NH. Will get pictures up after.

Happy Spring

Aussie Home

I finally got to meet my Uncle Will, mom's older brother who lives in Australia. I really like him he is fun. He is up here for a couple of weeks visiting and helping grandma and grandpa. Cutting wood, helping around the house when mom can't be there.

You like the way I sleep sometimes. I like to hold my arm when I am really asleep.

Well I hope everyone has a great weekend. The weather has been beautiful for walks. So it looks like we are going for our afternoon walks now. I like them because I get to sniff all the different smells.

Think Spring.

Congrates To Aunt AElz

Congratulations to Grandma Hutchins and Aunt AElz on their C-ATCH. Mom was running behind in her schedule so we missed it. Bummer. Grandma told mom Aunt AElz is the first Norfolk Terrier female to get her C-ATCH on the East Coast. YUPPY. Now I have a lot to live up too with Aunt Aelz and everyone getting their C-ATCHs.

We are getting more of the white stuff tonight until tomorrow morning. Might go and see the Laconia Sled Dog Championships tomorrow after snow blowing.

Well off to take my afternoon nap with Cuffs and Trixie. Hope everyone has a good week ahead and stay warm.

Depressing

Yup it is a sad week for us Patriot fans. If you have not heard they lost to the New York Giants on Sunday.

I have figured out how to get into mom's room. I can jump over the baby gate that is locked at the door. See if the gate is just leaning on the door I will not go over, it will scare me. But if the gate is locked I can stand by the gate and jump over. I have fun with mom. See one day she was shoveling snow and when she came in she called me and I did not come. So she came and found me in my bed in the bedroom. I was sleeping.

We are taking obeidence classes. I am doing OK but when the next class comes in I like to see who is there instead of listening to mom. So I get into trouble. We got 3 more weeks and then onto Rally, Maybe.

Everyone stay warm and have a good weekend.

Skiing and Super Bowl

Mom and Lynn took me cross country skiing last weekend up at Bear Notch Ski center. I had a blast running in the snow and meeting new people. I was a good boy and tried to stay in the tracks but I did have to go and sniff the trees and bushes. At the end of the day I slept.

This weekend is mom's birthday and the 42nd Super Bowl. So no skiing this weekend. Mom does have to work this weekend but not during the Super Bowl.

New England Patriots have made it 18 and 0 season. Moving onto the Super Bowl against the New York Giants and Eli Manning. When mom found out they won she danced all over with me. I need to get myself a Patriots shirt now and wear it for the game. There will be fireworks going off when they win the Super Bowl.

That is it for right now. Hope everyone has a good week.

08 Pictures

1. Garage at the fork in the road

2.Road leading out from Ranger station
3. Rod going into 4H camps from Rangers station.

Here are some I took with my phone.

North Pole Here

Pi is at the house staying warm so I have to write for him this morning. It was 4 degrees when I left the house. Since I have a lot of critters to do today I decided to leave Pi in the crate to stay warm. He Loves to play in the snow and chase the ice balls and snow balls he makes. It is funny to watch him chase them and then eat them. This side of town we have about 2 feet of snow and the snow piles are big. It is funny to watch Pi play in the snow piles and try to run threw the snow.

I'll get some pictures up when I get them down loaded off my camera. Stay warm and have fun.
